Who We are

Benefits to Joining GHYS

Young adults aged 15 to 30 either unemployed or on income assistance may be eligible to participate in one of our skill-based employment programs. Youth S.E.A.R.Ch. employment programs consist of a variety of innovative and practical workshops that help participants overcome specific barriers to employment.

Youth S.E.A.R.Ch. employment programs are designed to meet the interests and needs of participants; interactive workshops include health and nutrition, effective communication, public speaking, accessing community resources, interviewing techniques, resume design, and much more. For the first time, Youth S.E.A.R.Ch. is offering an educational planning component that includes trade and technology student-shadowing at BCIT.
